Chapter 11 Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry

1. How did T.J. get so badly injured?
 After the robbery T.J. was getting scared that they killed the two people. He threatened to tell other people about what R.W. and Melvin did if they did not take him home right away. So the two boys beat up T.J really badly and blamed everything on him. Then the white people came and beat him up even more.

2.Would you have helped T.J. if you had been in Stacey’s place? Why or why not?

 I would have helped him because even though we did not get along would want someone to help me too. No matter how wrong a person did we should be able to forgive like God can forgive us.


3.What do think will happen to the Avery family, especially T.J.?
I think that the Avery family will be devestated. And T.J will be sentenced to death row.

Chapter 10 Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry

1. Why do you think the bank suddenly wants the Logans to pay
their mortgage in full?

I think that the bank wanted them to pay their mortgage in full because they were not shopping over at the Wallace's and they were trying to get others to not shop there either anymore. The bank wanted to make it harder on them and show them their place and Mr. Granger still wanted to buy their land. So he knew that if they couldn't make payments he could just buy the land from them.

 2. Do you think the Logans’ troubles with the Wallaces are over?
Why or why not?
I do not think that their troubles with the wallaces are over because they do not like that mama was trying to get people to shop other places and they really needed business. And because Mr. Morrison beat up his friends/kin and he wanted to get payback with the logans to show them them that they better not act out of place.

3. What do you think will happen to T.J. in Strawberry?

I think that T.J. will end up stealing the pistol with R.W. and Melvin but someone must have gotten hurt. I say this because usually during robberies sometimes the person/people in the house wake up to see that someone is taking their stuff. These boys are not stupid enough to leave witnesses so someone got hurt or killed.
